Gaza Health Ministry announces that the number of war martyrs has risen to 37,347

Baghdad, The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, the second day of Eid al-Adha, that the number of victims of the Israeli war since October 7 has risen to 37,347 martyrs and 85,372 wounded. The Ministry stated in a daily statistical report: "The Israeli occupation committed two massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, from which 10 martyrs and 73 wounded arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours." It added: "A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them." It pointed out that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression has risen to 37,347 martyrs and 85,372 wounded since October 7th. In addition to the victims, most of whom are children and women, the war on Gaza has left behind massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of dozens, most of whom are children. Israel continues this war despite the UN Security Council resolutions to stop it immediately, and the Internat ional Court of Justice orders to end the invasion of Rafah in southern Gaza and take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the dire humanitarian situation in the Strip. Tel Aviv also defies the request of the Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, to issue arrest warrants against its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and its Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, for their responsibility for "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity" in Gaza. For the 18th year, Israel has besieged the Gaza Strip, and its war has forced about two million of its population, numbering about 2.3 million Palestinians, to flee in catastrophic conditions, with severe shortages of food, water and medicine.
