Al-Hakim confirms support for movements aimed at stopping the war and holding the perpetrators of genocide crimes accountable in Gaza

Baghdad: The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, affirmed support for movements within international organizations aimed at stopping the war and holding the perpetrators of genocide crimes accountable in the Gaza Strip. The National Wisdom Movement said in a statement: 'Today, Al-Hakim met with Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, and the Palestinian ambassador to Baghdad, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, where Abu Rudeineh conveyed the greetings and bless of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen and his appreciation for our positions on the Palestinian issue.' Al-Hakim stressed: 'Our firm positions in support of the Palestinian cause and our strong condemnation of the continuation of Israeli crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the necessity of immediately stopping all acts of systematic killing carried out by the Israeli war machine without regard to human rights laws.' Al-Hakim also stressed: 'The Palestinian issue is present in all our meetings and that official and popular Iraqi support at all levels continues, especially through providing aid to our brothers in Palestine.' He praised, at the same time, the Arab positions that confronted the displacement plans, emptying the Palestinian issue of its content, and preserving historical rights for the Palestinians in their land. Al-Hakim expressed his rejection of 'the double standards adopted by the international community in its support for the continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip by supplying the occupation forces with weapons and ignoring the tens of thousands of martyrs who fell victim to the Israeli crimes that have been continuing for months,' stressing at the same time the support for all movements within international organizations that aim to stop the war and hold the perpetrators of genocide crimes accountable in the Gaza Strip.'
